I've wanted to write a few words about Rambo for awhile now but my wife and I have been busy moving into our new home. A home that is perfect for us. And I thank Rambo for that. The man is superb. He went to extraordinary lengths to make sure we found a home that is a good fit for us. We looked at so many different houses. We knew what we wanted in a home but we couldn't articulate it very well. We had to see the house and step into it in order to know whether it was it was right for us. Several times we thought we had found houses that could be right even though they were more than we intended to spend. Rambo actually went through every home carefully with us (he has refurbished several) and showed us why these homes were not good values. He saw problems we didn't see. I learned a lot from him. I related my experiences with Rambo to several friends who have worked with a number of real estate agents and they agreed unanimously that Rambo is a good one. His level of service, his patience, his unflagging good cheer and his integrity are uncommon. It is not often that I come out of a business relationship feeling as if I've found a friend that I could include in my inner circle but in this instance I feel that I have. My wife and I feel blessed to have this house. It is what we were looking for. And this house came in at much less than I was approved for. Then again Rambo proved to me, time and again, that he was never motivated by the commissionE I'm from L.A. What do I know? Houses in the worst parts of L.A. sell for $500,000. My perspective was out of whack. I would have paid far more and felt like it was a deal. But he recommended the house we ended up buying when he could have recommended far more expensive houses. He went through the house several times for me and was impressed by its quality. We liked it as soon as we saw it but the clincher was when Rambo pronounced it a really good value for the Portland market. By this time I came to believe that he really did have my best interests at heart and that I could trust him completely. I made an offer which was accepted and if you've read this entire testimonial then you probably won't be surprised to learn that the house appraised for more than I ended up paying for it.
